The meeting was called to order at 1pm. Present were Gary Goldberg, Ken Shepard, Mike Tizzani, Mike Mahan, Bob D'Angelo, Chuck Cason and George Wacaser. Not present was Mike Cox.

The minutes of the January 10th, 2024 meeting were approved. 

Mike Mahan addressed our finances. Outstanding bills at this time are the February field fees, the manager's reception, costs for the Pizza Days and plaques to be awarded. The financial report was approved. 

The Pizza Days will be on 3/4/24 and 3/5/24 with Medicare Adviser Marc Jacobs providing the pizza and the association providing the beverages.

The location of the manager's reception will be at the Shriners Hall on N. Beneva Rd. which will start at 5:00 pm on 3/24/24. The cost per participant has yet to be determined. 

The man of the year award has been reinstated by the board. 

Voting for four positions on the board will begin on 2/19/2. Candidate bios are still being posted on the website. Vote counters have been selected. Active players, managers and registered call ups can vote. An email will go out to the voters.

New Business

Summer season registration starts on 2/19/24 with the season running from 4/15/24 through 8/2/24 resuming 9/9/24 and ending 10/4/24. Playoffs will be on 10/11/24. The summer draft will be on 4/8/24 with 8am, 10am and 1pm the start times for the league drafts. The fee will remain at $60 per league registration. Mike Mahan, Frank Lyons and Mike Tizzani will be the league coordinators. 

The association approved reserving Fruitville Park for the 3/2/24 game against Venice with the costs of the field rental and game balls being picked up by the participants. 

The next meeting will occur on March 13th, 2024 at 1pm.
