Present: Chuck Cason, Dan Martin, Dave Wulfsohn, Joe Warren, George Wacaser, Jack Zimmerman, Frank Lyons, Ken Shepard.  Absent: Ron Grande. Guests: Bob D’Angelo.
President Chuck Cason called the meeting to order at 1pm. Minutes of the March 13 meeting were approved unanimously, as was the financial report. The fee for the summer league will be $25 for each roster player.                                 

                                                      OLD BUSINESS
Bill Smith gave Jack the sponsor folder. Now we need to send thank you letters to the sponsors for the recent 2018-2019 winter season and prepare to send a different letter to sponsors requesting their continued support.
We reviewed the annual luncheon held March 27. Everyone thanked Joe for a job well done. We are not sure how many folks attended. Der Dutchman charged us $16.99 for 100 served meals and $3 each for 40 ‘no show’ meals. However, we feel more than 100 people attended the banquet. As usual, we lost money on the luncheon, anywhere from $638 to $1035.
                                                      NEW BUSINESS
       1.  Motions were made, seconded and passed to appoint Dan Martin and Frank Lyons to serve 2 year terms. As well, Jack Zimmerman was elected as president, Frank Lyons as vice president, Ken Shepard as secretary, and Dan Martin as treasurer.
       2.  Bill Muth and Craig Zeugin have agreed to manage team 3 in the Wednesday gold league. That’s the team in which Dan Martin and Pete Mancinelli selected players, as there was no manager.
       3.  Most pitchers now get behind the screen after releasing the ball. We will not change the rule but will continue to enforce the rule as needed to ensure compliance.
       4. A motion was made, seconded and passed to allow Thursday league games to be held at Fruitville Park on Richardson Road instead of the 17th St complex.
       5. Some slight changes to a few rules as written by George were approved. George will make sure the changes are posted to our website.
Next month’s meeting is 1pm, Wednesday, May 8 at the Fruitville Library. Today’s meeting adjourned at 3pm.
